Marking the Grand Opening of EUDS’ first flagship showroom in Ho Chi Minh City, Gallery of ICONS unfolded as an elegant celebration of timeless craftsmanship, European design heritage, and contemporary living. Bringing together legendary maisons, master artisans, and curated experiences, the evening transformed the showroom into a true House of Masterpieces.

On the evening of 15 May 2026, EUDS – European Design Solutions Co. Ltd. officially unveiled its first flagship showroom in Ho Chi Minh City through Gallery of ICONS, an intimate and elegantly curated evening celebrating the enduring language of design, craftsmanship, and contemporary living. Held at the brand’s new space within Sarimi B2, the Grand Opening welcomed architects, designers, collectors, tastemakers, and international partners into an atmosphere conceived less as a retail destination and more as a living gallery of timeless masterpieces.

Guided by the evocative tagline, “Where Icons Quietly Reveal Themselves”, the evening unfolded as a sensory journey through some of the world’s most distinguished design houses. Rather than approaching interiors through a conventional showroom model, EUDS presented each space as a carefully curated environment, where furniture, materials, light, and textures existed in quiet dialogue with one another. Every detail carried the weight of heritage, artistry, and emotion.

Founded in 2017, European Design Solutions Co. Ltd. has steadily established itself as one of Vietnam’s leading curators of luxury interiors, representing internationally renowned brands while delivering bespoke design and fit out solutions for private residences and prestigious developments. Rooted in a philosophy of authenticity, craftsmanship, and timeless value, EUDS continues to shape a more refined perspective on luxury living within Vietnam’s evolving design landscape.
At the heart of the evening was the Gallery of ICONS Tour, inviting guests to encounter legendary names whose histories span more than a century, including Poltrona Frau, Poggenpohl, Vispring, Schmalenbach, DEDON and DRAENERT. Each maison represented not merely a brand, but a chapter in the ongoing story of European craftsmanship and design excellence passed down through generations.

Adding further depth to the occasion was the presence of international brand representatives and master artisans from Italy and the Philippines. Guests were offered a rare glimpse into the artistry behind the objects through live craftsmanship presentations by Micheel Vargas Goc ong of DEDON, whose weaving expertise spans more than two decades, alongside Riccardo Virgili from Poltrona Frau, a house long revered for its mastery of Italian leather craftsmanship. The presence of Karsten Schmalenbach, representing the third generation of the Schmalenbach family, brought an additional sense of heritage, continuity, and authenticity to the evening.

The atmosphere was further elevated by lighting partner tamminh, whose thoughtful illumination transformed the showroom into a layered architectural experience where light itself became part of the narrative. Accompanying the evening were collaborations with Bang & Olufsen, RIMOWA, Moët & Chandon, Chef Thach Ta of Fluid, and Métaphore, creating a seamless interplay between gastronomy, sound, craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury lifestyle.
A memorable highlight came through the live culinary performance by Chef Thach Tran, trained at Le Cordon Bleu and formerly of Fallow London, whose refined creations introduced a contemporary gastronomic rhythm to the evening. Bespoke leather gifts prepared for guests added a discreet yet deeply personal gesture, reflecting the attention to detail that defined the event throughout.

More than the opening of a showroom, Gallery of ICONS marked the arrival of a new design destination within Ho Chi Minh City, one where interiors transcend functionality to become expressions of emotion, memory, and identity. It reflected EUDS’ vision of luxury not as excess, but as permanence, craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of things made with intention.
As the evening slowly drew to a close, the showroom remained filled with the lingering resonance of conversation, soft light, and beautifully crafted forms. Beneath the interplay of marble, leather, wood, and shadow, Gallery of ICONS offered a poignant reminder that the true essence of luxury lies not in what is loudly displayed, but in what continues to be felt long after the moment itself has passed.
