The joyful season at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort and Sundays Beach Club begins with the Christmas Day Lunch with a menu curated by the acclaimed Australian chef, James Viles. Renowned for his imaginative modern food and commitment to sustainability at his two-hatted restaurant Biota Dining, Viles has successfully published two cookbooks and his anticipated Netflix’s special will air in 2024.
The lunch starts at 11am and due to the day’s popularity, a limited exclusive space is bookable in advance. The delectable five-course menu is priced at Rp1,200,000/ adult and Rp800,000/ child, inclusive of tickets to enjoy the beach club and its facilities for the whole day.
Celebrating Christmas on the beach is a massively popular option on the island. This year, the beach club brings you Santa and Santarina’s visits, face painting, and fresh Christmas cookies from the oven for the little ones. Watch the sundown and enjoy a live music performance to end the day. Boxing Day brings all of those experiences along with a sand castle contest, recovery shots on arrival, and cricket on the beach.
Family-friendly movies like Elf, Home Alone, Barbie, and Elvis will be screened at the beach or on the clifftop edge lawn at the resort throughout December and the whole festive season. On New Year’s Eve, the beach club will only open its doors at 6pm for an exclusive party. Join the New Year’s Eve by the Beach: A NYE Affair in White where three DJs, saxophonists, fire dancers, and water drum performances take over the evening at Sundays. Free-flow canapé and food stalls are available for your eating pleasures throughout the evening. A free-flow beverage package is available to book along with your ticket.
