In the delicate dance between wine and cuisine, sommeliers are the unseen maestros who turn moments into memories. The Gourmet Vietnam Awards 2025 honours nine visionaries whose passion and precision are shaping a new chapter in Vietnam’s fine dining and wine culture.

The wine world, long steeped in heritage and ceremony, now stands at a subtle yet irreversible inflection point. While older generations continue to sip, swirl, and collect, the next wave of drinkers has entered the room with little fanfare—and a completely different philosophy.

The Vietnam Best Sommelier in French Wines 2025 (VNBSMFW) – part of the “Taste France” campaign organised by the French Ministry of Agriculture – has successfully concluded after attracting more than 50 participants from Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hanoi. Following the Semi-Final round, four outstanding contestants advanced to the Grand Final.
