Named after a wandering cartoon sailor known for curiosity, tolerance and a love of discovery, Le Corto approaches cuisine as a journey rather than a display. Since opening in 2016, it has shaped a distinctive place within Ho Chi Minh City’s fine dining scene, guided by classical French foundations and a quietly contemporary spirit.
At its helm is French Cambodian chef Sakal Phoeung, a member of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, with more than twenty five years in Michelin starred kitchens. His cooking reflects discipline without rigidity, refinement without distance.
