Amangati
The Art of The Sea

Van Ho

Aman enters a new realm of hospitality with Amangati, its first motor yacht and the opening act of Aman at Sea. Launching in May 2027, the vessel brings the brand’s language of privacy, stillness, and design to the Mediterranean, reframing ocean travel as something more intimate, cultured, and deeply serene.

Aman has always been less concerned with spectacle than with atmosphere. Its resorts do not simply host guests; they choreograph silence, space, and a rare sense of retreat. With Amangati, the brand now carries that philosophy onto the water, opening a new chapter that feels less like an expansion than a natural evolution. Reservations for the inaugural season have already opened, and early demand has been swift, driven by Aman loyalists and a new generation of travellers drawn to a more design-led idea of yachting.

The debut season, beginning in May 2027, will unfold across the Mediterranean through voyages of five to eight nights. Yet these are not itineraries built around the usual rhythm of large-scale cruising. Amangati will favour intimate harbours over crowded ports, tracing routes through the Dalmatian Coast, Mediterranean Spain, and the French Riviera, with calls at quieter enclaves such as Beaulieu-sur-Mer. The emphasis is on slow discovery rather than transit, with late departures, overnight stays, and journeys timed to coincide with cultural moments, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. Most evocative of all is a sunset passage through Venice’s historic Grand Canal, an experience that places the yacht in dialogue with the romance of the city itself.

That intimacy continues onboard. At 600 feet across nine decks, Amangati will accommodate only 94 guests in 47 suites, which range in size from 68 to 354 square meters. Inspired by traditional Japanese ryokans, each suite features full-height windows and private terraces, creating a serene, residential atmosphere at sea.

Wellness remains a core focus of the brand. The 1,200 square foot Aman Spa spans two decks, featuring eight ocean-facing treatment suites with private terraces and whirlpool baths. Facilities include a hammam, a Russian banya, a fitness studio, and a medical center, alongside dedicated spaces for yoga and meditation.

The culinary program offers diverse venues. Options include Alira for Mediterranean cuisine, Akari and Hiori for Japanese washoku and teppanyaki, and the refined Aman Grill. The yacht also features 24-hour in-suite dining, a Jazz Club, a cinema, a youth lounge, and the Selora Marina for water sports.

Amangati does not propose a new cruise. It proposes something rarer: Aman’s vision of hospitality, unmoored and set gently at sea.
