Where sea meets sky in a dance of light and stillness, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai unveils its newly reimagined One-Bedroom and Family Villas a poetic renewal of beachfront luxury in central Vietnam. Restored with reverence by HBA Singapore, each villa breathes new life into a timeless architectural soul.

There are places where time seems to slow where the rhythm of the waves, the whisper of palms, and the perfume of frangipani weave a language of stillness. Along the tranquil shores of Hội An, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai unveils a renewed chapter in its story: the unveiling of its newly refurbished One-Bedroom Villas and Family Villas, a delicate harmony between heritage and modern grace.
A total of 60 villas will soon complete this transformation, with 43 already welcoming guests and the remaining 17 to be unveiled by mid-December 2025.
Reimagined by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) Singapore, the renovation remains faithful to the original vision of Reda Amalou of Paris-based AW2 and the late Jaya Ibrahim. Together, their legacy lingers in every line and curve a dialogue between Vietnamese soul and contemporary refinement, between architectural stillness and the intimacy of light.

“The Nam Hai has always endeavoured to maintain a sense of place while anticipating the needs of today’s traveller,” shares Marcel Oostenbrink, General Manager. “This renovation preserves that intention while bringing in new warmth and intimacy. It is a continuation not a departure from a narrative deeply rooted in the region.”
The One-Bedroom Villas have grown in space and serenity, expanding from 80 sqm to 87 sqm, while the Family Villas now unfold across 108 sqm, offering more room for connection, reflection, and quiet joy.
A Living Legacy Reawakened
Inspired by the garden houses of Huế, each villa remains a sanctuary of proportion and poetry: timbered roofs, elevated sleeping platforms, and the timeless sightline from bed to sea a composition as elegant as a silk painting.
Within these familiar contours, a softer light emerges. Pale linens, chartreuse accents, and mustard hues reflect the rhythm of the surrounding landscape. Local artistry breathes through hand-carved details and woven textures, a testament to Vietnam’s enduring craft traditions.
A newly introduced bay window gathers morning light; a plush daybed invites lingering afternoons of quiet reading. Pendant lamps shaped like the nón lá Vietnam’s iconic conical hat cast warm shadows across the room, echoing the dance of lanterns on a Hoi An night.

The bathrooms are a study in balance Panda White marble and seeded glass, the cool touch of stone against the lush view of tropical gardens. A freestanding bathtub rests beneath a framed window, where guests may watch the rain fall softly into the green.
Discreet luxury defines the experience: Bang & Olufsen speakers, Dyson hairdryers, wireless chargers, yoga mats, and smart TVs blend seamlessly into the space comfort without excess, technology without intrusion.

A Return to Stillness
In the Family Villas, laughter fills the air a space reimagined for connection, where children’s dreams meet the ocean breeze. Every corner speaks of warmth, belonging, and renewal.
Here at Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, design is not merely aesthetic; it is an act of remembrance a meditation on what endures. Each villa is a vessel of light and silence, where the sea becomes a mirror of the soul, and luxury returns to its purest form: presence.
