At Livannah Sips and Bites, street food becomes a curated global experience shaped by chef driven craft and multicultural storytelling. Vibrant yet disciplined, playful yet precise, this cross border dining concept reframes casual cuisine through flavour, design and drink culture, earning Highly Recommended Best Casual Dining Restaurant at the Gourmet Vietnam Awards 2025.
In a city rich with culinary influences, Livannah Sips & Bites distinguishes itself by editing the world’s street food traditions into a cohesive, contemporary table. Launched in late 2024 with locations in Thao Dien and District 1, the concept moves beyond trend driven fusion and presents a structured, chef led interpretation of global bites and drinking rituals.
The creative direction comes from French Cambodian chef Sakal Phoeung, whose Michelin level training informs the kitchen’s discipline and balance. Inspired by his daughter’s East meets West heritage, the menu reads like a culinary travelogue, spanning Spanish tapas and tacos, Japanese nori and maki, multicultural skewers and Vietnamese street favourites, all refined through modern technique and composed presentation.
What defines the experience is proportion and polish. Small plates are designed for layering and contrast, encouraging guests to explore across flavour families in one sitting. Vietnamese phá lấu and pho interpretations sit alongside Iberian style bites and Japanese influenced creations, unified by clarity and texture.
The drinks programme is equally considered, pairing wines, sake, soju and craft creations with matching flavour profiles. The atmosphere remains colourful, contemporary and welcoming, supported by upbeat, attentive service.

Recognised as Highly Recommended Best Casual Dining Restaurant at the Gourmet Vietnam Awards 2025, Livannah Sips and Bites captures modern global casual dining with confidence and style.
