Spain’s culture and Gastronomy is starting to take hold in the Vietnamese market. Spanish products continue to gain popularity among Vietnamese consumers, thanks to restaurants and retailers that are increasingly embracing high-quality goods. Olive oil remains the standout product, but Spain has also become one of the country’s leading pork suppliers, partly due to the strong reputation of the Iberian breed.

Spanish heritage is also beginning to make its mark in Vietnam, as more and more Vietnamese are traveling abroad to explore different countries and cultures. Those who have traveled to Spain and discovered its cuisine are often captivated, eager to revisit, and want to bring parts of Spanish culture with them.
Given this scenario, the "OPEN DAY" returns for the third consecutive year, organized by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Vietnam. This event showcases premium Spanish food and wine products, presented by nine distinguished distribution companies operating in the Vietnamese market. The upcoming edition will take place on July 18, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event aims to promote the excellence of Spanish products in Vietnam while bringing together the country’s leading importers and distributors. This edition focuses on a carefully curated selection of high-end gourmet products, such as olive oil, cheese, wine, confectionery, and ham, alongside complementary goods like pickles and preserves.
Several established companies with a proven track record in importing Spanish products into Vietnam will be returning this year. These include Atlas Fine Food, known for renowned brands such as La Española olive oil and Acorsa pickles; Classic Fine Foods, a global supplier of gourmet ingredients featuring Spanish brands like Castillo de Canena olive oil and La Prudencia ham; Gourmet Partners, showcasing products such as Casalba Iberian meats and Vega Mancha cheeses; Tinh Hoa Toan Cau will return with a fine selection of Iberian products and wines from brands such as Draeza and Bodegas Verduguez; So Sexy Wines will once again highlight its specialization in Spanish wines; and, lastly, Hyperion will feature popular Spanish consumer brands like Lacasitos and Gullón cookies.
